How are Ayam ™ coconuts harvested?

Our coconuts are harvested by hand by qualified locals. They usually use a sharp blade with a long bamboo handle to remove the coconuts from the tree.

Contrary to what one might think, no one in the plantations takes the risk or wastes the time to climb the coconut trees. The coconuts fall off easily with the pressure of the poles when they are mature.
Monkeys can be seen picking coconuts on Youtube, but this is an attraction for visitors to tourist areas. It is a practice that we disapprove of and that has no place in a real coconut plantation.

Coconut production is one of the main sources of employment in the agricultural regions concerned.
On the manufacturing side, we also take care of sustainable development: all the Ayam ™ factories assigned to the production of coconut-based products use the hulls to operate their burners, which means they do not consume fossil energy. The remaining waste is recycled. All the coconuts are thus used.
